The paper illustrated is a heraldic design printed about 1550, found at Besford Court, Worcester.
The Society organises a programme of events, including lectures and seminars, visits to wallpaper collections, historic houses and towns, and design studios and manufacturers' archives. Conferences are organised to highlight particular themes and topical information is provided via a Newsletter and the Society's website. Members also receive a triennial, colour-illustrated publication, The Wallpaper History Review, which is international in scope and contains information about new research, articles on the history, design, conservation and reproduction of period and contemporary wallcoverings, reviews of books and exhibitions and details of forthcoming events.
