Frank Holmes Fine Décor is a husband-and-wife team based in the north-west of England. Frank has 35 years’ experience in wallpaper installation and heritage decorating, blending traditional craftsmanship with decorative artistry. 

Frank is one of the top Approved Lincrusta Installers and Restorers in the UK, passionate about rescuing damaged heritage Lincrusta and Anaglypta dado panels, and similar raised-relief wallpapers, friezes and ceiling tiles dating from the 1870s. With experience of working in both private homes and commercial spaces, Frank can replicate, repair and re-finish your vintage installations or re-produce designs by commission from his own heritage collection.

Frank’s passion for preserving and restoring rare (and now unavailable) designs was fuelled by learning about the history behind Victorian raised-relief wallcoverings such as Tynecastle Tapestry, Cameoid, Salamander, Lignomur, all of which date from the Arts and Crafts era, admiring the craftsmanship and discovering original designers. Frank’s wife Amanda manages the office and researches the stories behind their growing archive collection.
