Artists and makers: Brixton Print Shed

Matthew Meadows started Brixton Print Shed in 2012, from a small workshop in Brixton, South London, UK. He designs and hand screen-prints wallpaper there to commission.  Though mostly geometric, his designs also include commemorative papers with political themes.  In addition, he has successfully adapted the French Irisé process for screen-printing wallpapers. Matthew also prints for the interior design company Hamilton Weston, who specialise in reproducing historical wallpapers. His work is represented in the Whitorth Gallery and the People's History Museum, Manchester, as well as the Victoria and albert Museum, London.

He sells directly via social media and from his website: www.brixtonprintshed.org.uk.
